BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — Two students of Cynthia Mann Elementary say they were walking along Blue Grass Avenue when they were approached by a man after school on Tuesday.
Parents in the area are questioning the safety of their children after a letter was sent out following the incident.
The letter says Boise Police are currently investigating the report. According to officials, the man approached the two students but did not attempt to entice them.
The students involved say the car was a dark gray sports car, possibly a Honda Civic.
Local parents tell us they are taking necessary precautions with their children by making sure they don’t talk to strangers and arranging rides to and from school.
“I rode my bike a little bit faster and I got pretty scared,” said Andre, a fifth grader at Cynthia Mann.
School officials say the security of students and staff is important. They’re asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call Boise Police.
